I did an article two years ago, "The Democrats Have No Idea What Demons They Are Unleashing." In the article, I cited the Jacobins, the most violent and radical political group of the French Revolution. An estimated 40,000 people were beheaded by guillotine under the Jacobin control of the French government. It turned out over the weekend that protesters in Portland were burning American flags and built a guillotine, which they were proudly wandering around. It's always dangerous to assume that symbolic threats of violence are only symbolic. These are dangerous people in Portland. It is astonishing that this has gone on for something like 90 days. And at some point, American citizens are going to have to have their rights restored, and those would be dictators have to be defeated. I had no idea when I wrote this two years ago, how much it would become true in Portland and how inadequate and incompetent the local officials will be the mayor, the governor, the whole system is just allowing Portland to disintegrate without any kind of effective intervention.
