Educators in Oregon released a document putting mathematics through the lens of a social justice framework. The pamphlet equates math to racism and suggests the practice of solving for “right answers” is an expression of white supremacy. You can’t make this stuff up. So, I think the federal government should cut off all federal funding to Oregon for an education system now dedicated to teaching falsehood. They are frankly destroying children’s lives by refusing to require them to learn anything real.
