During the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), The Epoch Times reports that Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) made a frightening statement: Big tech companies in the US are helping the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) become the dominant world power.
Blackburn believes that the partnership between big tech and the CCP is possible because of mass censorship by companies like Twitter and Facebook, which operate with the stipulations that you “conform or they will cancel you.” Blackburn says this way of operating “sounds a lot like communist China.”
