If the bill is enacted, it will be the largest cash infusion the public works system has seen in over a decade.
A Flash Brief from the Gingrich 360 Team:
On Jul. 29, the Senate voted to take on a bipartisan $1 trillion infrastructure bill. The vote was 67-32, which included 17 Republicans voting in favor.
The bill will still have to be formulated into official legislative text as well as pass in both the House of Representatives and the Senate before it can become law.
If the bill is enacted, it will be the largest cash infusion the public works system has seen in over a decade.
Democrats did have to make some concessions, and this vote came after weeks of negotiations by bipartisan members.
