Charity of the Month: American Red Cross Hurricane Ida Disaster Relief

The Gingrich Foundation

The devastation brought about by Hurricane Ida has been tragic and heartbreaking.

The heavy rains and extreme flooding in the Northeast and Louisiana have taken dozens of lives and caused over $50 billion in damage. More than 1 million homes and businesses are without power in Louisiana, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. At the same time, nearly a dozen towns in four parishes in Louisiana do not have access to clean drinking water.

As the rescue and recovery efforts continue, the American Red Cross has been among the most experienced organizations providing aid and coordinating emergency response.

Please consider supporting the American Red Cross Hurricane Ida relief efforts, which have been providing critical supplies and support to those in need.

The American Red Cross has been one of our country’s most important charitable organizations for the last 140 years. Its expertise at disaster relief is unparalleled, responding to more than 60,000 disasters each year.

Please join us this month in assisting those affected by Hurricane Ida through the American Red Cross, and keep all those impacted by this hurricane in your thoughts and prayers.
