NEWT:

Well, look, I think the gap between Biden’s fantasy world and the real world is getting wider. The fact is there are a lot of Democrats who would like to run, none of them are particularly scared of Biden. None of them are going to take him on until something happens because he’s the president, he’s spending trillions of dollars and he has the entire machinery of the federal government. So he is formitable. On the other hand, I suspect more and more Democrats are going to realize that he probably can’t win the next election. He’s not going to be able to hide in the basement, he can’t’ seem to hide in the rose garden. We are going to see more things like the recent bank failures. We’ll see more problems and we’ll see more compounding effects of millions of illegal immigrants. All of this is going to pose a huge challenge. In 1964, Lyndon Johnson, won an enormous reelection riding off the tragedy of John F. Kennedy having been assassinated. Four years later, the opposition of Johnson was enough that he announced he would not run for reelection. So, I think you have a very similar thing here, nobody asks yourself if you get into the first one or two primaries and anybody runs against Biden and his 38% approval, what’s going to happen in that primary? The odds are very high that Biden is going to start losing. Plus remember, every month that goes by, his cognitive problem gets bigger. Every month that goes by, it is more embarrassing. The only thing that makes Biden currently survivable is that Kamala Harris is so much worse.

NEWT:

Laura, you can’t set these things up like this. You know that Kamala Harris is a joke. Every time you watch her, she’s laughing. Every time she does an interview, it is clear she has no idea what she’s talking about and despite every effort to train her and there has been a lot of efforts to train her. She’s not trainable. This is a person who has 0 capacity for learning. She’s the best insurance policy that Joe Biden could ever have because nobody is going to want to implement the 25th amendment no matter how bad Biden gets there will always be this thought that without him we’ll get Kamala Harris and that ain’t going to happen. On the one hand, he can’t dump her. She’s an African American woman acceptable by the left. On other hand, he can’t keep her. That’s one of the dilemmas of this potential campaign.

NEWT:

I think the most likely democratic nominee is governor Whitmer of Michigan. She’s a woman and she’s very liked on the left, she’s done everything she could for big labor. She represents a key swing state. She’s formidable as a potential democratic nominee. I think Pritzker on the other hand, there is a huge difference of being a governor and being a presidential candidate. Pritzker on the national state will be a buffoon it will be an absurdity. You look at the things they have done in Illinois, every single one of them is opposed by 70% or 90% of the American people. The most pro-criminal state in the country.

And of course, you go to California, let’s get serious. Newsom can’t survive east of the California border because the truth is he’s a goofball who runs the state that’s not working.
