Interesting things are going on, and the winds of the election are beginning to shift. A recent poll has Minnesota on the verge of going for President Trump, which has not voted for a Republican since 1972. The gap is widening in Georgia for President Trump as well.
Watching the mayor of Portland for the last 40 minutes has been excruciatingly painful. He’s clearly a very deep partisan. His comments towards President Trump were stunningly hateful, direct and vicious.
One of the most interesting things developing today was Nancy Pelosi suggesting that she doesn’t think that Joe Biden should debate president Trump at all.

This totally artificial, false democratic panic about the postal service is just one more example of how insane the Democratic Party is becoming. People are running around finding conspiracies where they don’t exist. As The Wall Street Journal said, in a mocking way, Speaker Nancy Pelosi is calling the House back into session this week to address fears that the US Postal Service is being infiltrated by alien lizard people posing as letter carriers. Okay, it isn’t quite that bad. The problem with bulk voting is not the postal service, but it will have an negative impact on the election. Listen to my thoughts in this audio piece.
I am working on a newsletter about Kamala Harris being an anti-Catholic bigot. But in the middle of my research, I discovered that there were four different times in the debates where she really viciously attacked Biden. And she has now repudiated each of the four. So an old trial lawyer approach would be to show the first attack and then show her repudiating it.
Having been through a lot of negotiations, including the budget negotiations of the 1990s, I think President Trump should ignore the current stimulus bill negotiations. I think he should figure out every possible executive order that moves the system in his direction and go about the process of just deciding he’s going to revitalize America. He’s going to take care of opening up the schools and try to do everything he can to make Pelosi and Schumer absolutely irrelevant.

How can you possibly have a public policy for dealing with COVID if your data is eight weeks old? However, that understates the problem last week when the CDC reported 1,099 deaths. The World Health Organization estimated American deaths at 4,869. The Washington Post had a range between 4,900 and 6,300, and The New York times reported 5,379 for the week. Now, how can you possibly shape policy when you have a variance of 600 percent among the different estimates?
